An Unusual Wedding Entrance That Will Guarantee A Smile!

After reading Kari's Find the Path of the Child which reminds us to see the world with childlike eyes of wonder, with more love and joy, and DoodleLyn's A Clown Taught Me How To Smile where she shares how a smile can change an attitude, even her own sadness (she knows as she was a professional clown; how fun!), I was was happy to come across these Youtube videos which were shared by an online friend. The non traditional wedding videos made me smile and chuckle; looks like the young couples are off to an upbeat start in their marriage. Having humor in one's relationship helps with the ups and downs of life.
I shared in Kari's hub, how my s/o and I skip over speed bumps in the park, and couldn't care less who is looking, play with rocks and I get on swings, we are just plain silly everyday. I never imagined that when I would reach my baby boomer years, I would recapture that child like sense of wonder and laughter, and neither did my partner as he also has changed. After years of being in an emotionally abusive relationship with the ex, its freeing to experience a new reality! The world is in need of more laughter and smiles.
Which reminds me, in DoodleLyn's hub, G-Ma commented:
" I have to tell you a quick story...As I was driving down through town and watching peoples faces, most with no real expressions I decided to wave with the biggest smile I could muster...at walking people, people in cars passing or at a stop light..whenever I could get their attention and I must admit 7 out of 10 responded with a wave or a smile and sometimes both.
By the time I had driven through town I felt better too...This gives me an idea...My mom has Alzheimer's and is in a home and they provide all sorts of things for them I am gonna suggest a clown...I bet they will smile big time...if only in the moment...THANKS so much"

Such great videos! It's so true, we all need that childlike joy in our lives. My dad and I danced a Norwegian dance step down the aisle at my wedding. My hubby doesn't dance, but I'm a Scandinavian dance teacher, so it was the perfect way to include a dance without excluding my husband. Brought smiles to our guests as well, as it was a surprise to everyone but the wedding party.

Hello, Violet! At the last count 11 million people have watched the video and its fame is spreading like wild fire. I'm not surprised, my OH and I started watching with big round eyes and ended up laughing out loud, and were talking about it all day long :-) What I found totally cute is how many people participated, whoever idea this was, they sold it without trouble to throngs of family and friends, makes me think Christmas at that family must be a VERY fun event! Laugh!

I just got up since I was running some tests for our code complete date. I have not taken my head phones and my husband is sleeping. I will watch the video later. I was just at a wedding reception tonight, and when the introduced the wedding party they all came in dancing like that, and the bride bride came in piggy back on the groom's back, dancing.
